Yup, put a 10mm out a 610 through the top corner. One remarkably bad shot. According to the previous shot, it was a 165 gr doing about 1200 fps.

I've only shot one, so far! Hopefully that will be the same situation for you ;)
I told my friends that this is what I do to chronos that don't give me the numbers I want to see
Oh my! I put a metal plate on mine after shooting twice!
You think that's bad...I shot my Magnetospeed. :))
After I shot one I started using a ruler to measure the height of the barrel vs chrony and so far that has worked. On sloping ground it is still a little iffy.
I shot my Chrony with my AR10. Not bragging.....
I shot the wire holding the reflectors my chrony alpha. If anyone needs parts for a chrony hit me up. Bought a lab radar to replace it.

It is almost impossible to shoot a LabRadar. Almost!!
Before I blasted my chrony, I used it quite a bit. Do you guys with the Lab Radar like it?
And does it work in rain/snow?

I love mine. Will never go back to an optical chrono.

Only used it once so far, but very happy with it.
Not sure about rain or snow.

Many years ago at an IPSC match, the match director brought his deceased wife's car on the range so we could shoot through the open windows, then over the hard top roof to targets down range. There were probably 25-35 shooters.
One shooter had an early optic and forgot that the muzzle was lower than the scope and put all of the shots sideways through the roof of the car. The shooters who had comps that stuck the muzzle into the car interior completely destroyed the headliner.
The match director was going to sell the car, it went to the junkyard instead :-)
