Finally got my internet back on this evening 8)...Computer took some time updating everything.
Anyway, AT&T finally got their Network fixed and I was able to reestablish my connections on the home computer systems... :D ;D
Nice to see you back my Friend!!!
Been a challenge to cleaning up debris, limbs and leaves that were blown out the many trees here and also at my mom's place since the storm! Still cleaning up and burning off the debris between rain storms! Our homes survived undamaged despite the 110 MPH plus winds. While neither of us had any big trees down, others in out area were less fortunate.
WE WERE OUT OF POWER FOR 9 DAYS! Some of my cousins were hit very hard down along Bayou Lafourche area from Grand Isle and northward, some are just getting their power turned back on after 22 plus days.
They are still studying the data from Hurricane Ida and it will likely be reclassified from a Category 4 to a Category 5 seeing there was winds in excess of 185 mph near Port Fourchon, LA where the eastern eyewall came ashore. She was a bad Bitch and when she came on land her forward movement slowed to a crawl but the strength remained for a long duration and hence the massive amounts of damage just south and west of my location.
Looking forward to the cooler and drier weather moving in Wednesday with lower humidity to work in! ???
Gosh, just glad everyone is safe
Hey good to have you back and safe. Craig
Wade, glad you are back and safe. You were missed and thought of often.
Welcome back Wade. I had a similar situation happen 5 years ago with Charlie (I think). No fun.
Absolutely not, and glad to see you Back, we don?t have these storms in MN, but the 6-7 months of cold makes up for it 😊
Spent most of the day yesterday cleaning up more debris, cutting stuff up and burning. likely be more of the same today too!
Excellent. Glad you're back Shadow.
