Not bad ammo for the money. In all honesty it's a little stronger than American Eagle and many of the others for plinking. I remember buying 500 rounds of this at one point and it all shot great. This is an excellent choice for the range and/or brass.

Interesting thing I have found in all of this is even though you can't find .22LR, .22WMR, 9mm or some of the others 10mm hasn't been elusive or crazy high if you just keep an eye out. The odd calibers are good to have in this!
In stock too!

When Cabelas and 2 others who had Remington last night sell out almost immediately that does not bode well for ammo coming back to anywhere normal. My take is this. You have a run on ammo, you have a shortage of ammo, you have the goverment buying a huge chunk of ammo, and all the components are much higher due to commidity cost. You have manafactures like Underwood and others who cannot get components to build ammo and the makers of components are backordered for a year. I am no financial genius but show me how the price can possibly come down. When 22lr is 20.00 per box that tells me all I need to know about ammo price. I remember if to dropped a 22 on the ground you did not even look for it. not we hunt brass on our knees. Oh how times are a changing. I am just waiting now on the magazine run. That will be next.
What was the price for this? it is out of stock now. Underwood is $27 a box for 180 tmj's. Using the example above if you ordered 10 boxes the shipping would be about $2.50 a box. BTW they have had 180 TMJ's in stock every day for the last week. I don't know what the cabelas price for that rem was but a local store here had that same stuff for $36/box plus tax(that is their normal price not inflated). Not a deal IMO.
As long as the gun issue in states and Washington continues to be front and center their will be fear of unknowns with guns and ammo.So people are stacking.Ammo, the new precious metal. Then theirs the chance of additional taxing, aka,sin tax.I see that the word "Gunpowder" was used in the devices in Boston along with shrapnel.
$31.99 a box. I ordered one today to go with a pack of .22WMR and got $5.00 shipping for both. The .22's were .25/round which is good for WMR right now. Wanted to see the Remingtons on the the Chrony again.
Last Remingtons I shot ran about 1075-1125. Not thing to brag about but good for practice and the brass seems good.I had a gift card for 50.00 so I bought a box and got 6 50 round plastic ammo holder boxes. Good a way as any to blow that 50. If I do not shoot them I can sell them. There is nothing on gunbot under 1.00 per round right now. If Kevin could make a million rounds he could sell them all. I have to give the guy credit where it is due. He is producing a great product for a damn good price.Intercooler if you talk to him you pass that own from us.
Talk to him all the time so will do. The end of July I am headed down that way and may stop in to visit him for lunch.
Got my box today and retested. Last test it gave 1098 FPS in the Match and today:
Match 4.75" 1115, 1106, 1124, 1110, 1126. Average = 1116.2 FPS/ 498 LBS. Almost identical to American Eagle numbers
Razorback 5" 1127, 1143, 1147, 1127, 1130. Average = 1134.8 FPS/ 515 LBS
Hunter 6" 1162, 1148, 1155, 1138, 1131. Average = 1146.8 FPS/ 526 LBS
All the 10's I have in the stable just run flawless. I tend to lean on the Razorback as being the most accurate but it's splitting hairs!
When you stop in in July recommend he use some of those JHP's he is using in the 40's and put them in some 10's. LOL
I did the 1006 today and got a 9 shot average of 1105.62 FPS/ 489 LBS.
Armscor does the same and a little better, just saying.
Thats all your gonna get from factory 10mm. They just are not going to load it to potential are for that matter even close.
Remember when Armscor/BVAC had tried to load to real 10mm level? It was darn good for the money but then problems ensued and they backed it down. I feel that all of them should be able to offer a 180gr at 1200 real FPS.
I would even say for 180 grain 1250 fps shouldn't be too hard.
