Now THAT looks like a 10mm carry gun to me. Does it shoot six or maybe seven rounds?

He says it's six, but that picture is quite the optical illusion.  You'd swear it was a 7 shooter.

I'd love this as a carry piece!

3" is about 3" too short for me.

I have been fighting this conversion for years but now I think I will go ahead and cave in, I want the 10mm conversion and it cut to look like the new GP100 Match Champion.

Thanks Shadow.  It takes a bit of money and about a years time.  Dave does excellent work.  I am about 45 minutes away from his shop so my shipping was about a quarter tank of gas.

Good to be here.  I like to see a 10mm forum.  I kind of lose interest from time to time, mostly because I just don't have the money to throw at firearms related stuff.   But I sure would like to see someone build some new platforms for my favorite cartridge.

I believe Dave will work with any barrel length you send, buy a 6 inch GP100 and send it to him,  He reams the stock barrel and has it re rifled and re chambers everything.

Dave worked on one of my stainless .45 Blackhawks and he did a great job on it. If I were to get another 10mm wheel gun I'd have him make me a 3" GP100 also, those are sweet.

There is no way I could bring myself to carry my 10mm conversion for CCW, Just think if you had to use it and it was taken by the police......you may never get it back!  I would hate to loose such a great gun, now a BBQ gun would be great, I would use it for woods and target shooting but not for CCW, I'm sure it would be great but I could not take the risk. YMMV
