Many who have purchased one, say they like it..

RDub01  glad to see you posting!

So many things have come out with shotguns recently!

The shotguns coming out of Turkey are pretty impressive at their price point. I picked up a Winchester SXP defender in dark earth a while back, and for under 3, and has proven to be a very good weapon. With the Truglo fiber sights and 18? barrel you can?t beat it with a stick

I have been wanting one of the tristar viper g2 semiauto with walnut in 16 gauge so bad, that I think I'm going to have to pray about it and ask for forgiveness for coveting.

It even has threaded chokes and comes with a skeet, mod and full choke  :o

This is the shotgun gauge and features I've been waiting my whole adult life for.

Hickok45?s a funny guy, I think if I were to pick one of these up, I?d look into an M4 stock (if it actually fits) only problem with that is your 5 or 6 hundred dollar shotgun just went up substantially

First.  I have a Benelli M4.  So some bias may be in play here.

But...I am not generally a "buy the expensive one" kinda guy.  I am far more likely to buy the cheap one and make it work.

I can't help but recall this video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuY4CWm8XwA

If I were buying today, I would not get a Benelli M4.  I would get the Beretta 1301.  Less money and just as good reviews.

Had not seen that video.. Well, that was pathetic...  Thought maybe since the patent ran out, someone would come up with something that would work better.. Oh well.. My XPS works well and I'm happy with it. As long as the gas system is clean, no issues.. It won't shoot low recoil ammo, but I wasn't expecting it to. If I actually need it for what it is intended to do, I'm using full power ammo anyway.

I?ve heard that from several folks over the years. I?d like to get a semi-auto in the next few months, but really struggle the the cost of something like the M4. Ideally I could find something in the 7-8 range that?s built well and has a good reputation for reliability, but may have to suck it up and get the Beretta 1301 Tactical
