Very nice assortment of ammo, for someone who collects the older stuff.
The Norma stuff, does have a little more collector value, but not like the Winchester Black Talon...I don't know why, the Norma was much better ammo performance wise.  With that said its only worth what someone is willing to pay.

No disrespect, but as a handloader I can load to the performance level of most anything available.  Therefore I would not pay as much as say others might...When you factor in shipping cost it tends to jack up the price point even more.

Yeah I totally understand, I roll my own when I have time as well. I have just been trying to gather info on this stuff and its been somewhat hard. I think its just finding the right person. I didn't realize the 10mm cartridge is only 30 years old.

Did you want to sell say 10 rounds each for testing?

I have pulled down many commercial rounds (most have been sent to me by Intercooler here on the forum) and actually have that data posted in the Factory/commercial ammo section.  The Norma data is difficult because they don't make the R-123  powder any more.  Therefore we can only find the velocities that the older ammo produces and compare it to newer data for matching the velocities...

I didn't realize the powder data existed. I added the 200 with 11.6 gr's to the discontinued tab. Any idea what the 170 has?

There was a mention in the Cartridges of the World that said that it was 10.5 grains for the 200 grain load of small irregular length rod shaped powder, however as you can see, I do have the data which was shown by Norma for handloaders.  Did Norma use something else?  Don't know for sure, but the R123 is discontinued for quite some time now... ???

I'd like to do a pull-down to check the powder weights and properties of the real Norma loadings from the 170gr and 200gr...I could have sworn I had info from someone who pulled one, but I can not find the file, my bad. ::)

The powder that comes closest to this by weight vs. performance from Alliant is 2400...
VV powders has no loads by weight in this range of perfromance.
