Just received these 115 and 124g v-crown from American. Nice bullet as I have used these before and have a few hundred in storage. One interesting about this is the packaging was weird. The 115's were in a separate plastic bag but the 125's were loose. Oh well at leased they were separate and I don't have to weight them!!!! Craig
I also bought those. And V-Crown 180 for 10mm, and 230 for 45. Great deals.
The V Crown projectiles are nice and they are made by Sierra Bullet Smiths...
Yeah Wade they are real nice. I just topped off a box with the 125g as the can holding the 500 wouldn't close, will now. I seem to be doing better with the 125g over the 115g but looking at the data I am loading light on the 115g so I may try to pump it up a little. Maybe it is just me though. Craig
I did discover that the order was for 500 v-crown 115/124g and 500 124g HST. The HST were the loose ones but I guess I did receive the correct counts. Craig
Hey Craig, are you finding US made primers getting any cheaper, and if so, where are you getting them from
Ken I have only found CCI localy but they are mag primers at 120.00 per 1000. Kind of still high and they say they can't get regular small pistol primers. I just don't trust these guys but I like CCI's over off shore. I'm not sure what I will buy next prices are down you may look at Powder Valley for off shore as prices are around 79.00 per 1000. See ya Craig
Just went to Powder Valley and if you add in shipping and hazmat fee it's about the same as local CCI's. Craig
Thanks buddy, I?m pretty sure those $30.00 something a thousand days are long gone : (
Just got in another 500 v-crown from American. Sorted and got like 200 115g and 300 124g nice mix for me as I don't care what I shoot these days. Craig

Thanks guys!
Just got done loading 100 or so 125g v-crown left over from other orders and I still have a bunch left. I do love those bullets. Did a few 115g to top off a box. they both shoot great. Better than me that's for sure. Craig
I run into the same thing with 180gr XTP?s and Blue Dot, they?re way more accurate than I am 😀
Just received an order from American for 40cal/10mm that is FMJ lots of sizes like 125g 160g and 180g but I haven't weighted them yet. It's the same FMJ 40 cal I got before. Same style but I will report more after I weight them.. Craig
Loosely it was 250 180g and 230 165g and 7 155g A nice mix for me with the 180g loaded in 10mm I can go after that pesky rhino in the back yard !!! Craig
American had a lower than ever price and discount on v-crown 115g and 125g mix I just had to have. Arrived yesterday so I weighted and it was close to equal counts of both weights. I have a lot of these but I just love to shoot them. Got enough to last me quite a while. Craig
Morning Craig, is the mix usually close to 50/50 or do you tend to end up with more 115?s?
It could go either way. Sometimes it's 300 125g with 200 115 or it could be the other way. This one was close to even. Craig
Thanks Craig, what does 500 run you?
Well it's usually about 45.00 but this was minus 35% so it gets cheap. but 500 count even at around 50.00 is 10.00 per 100 compaired to 30 or so at the stores. I only get the v-crowns or HST's or what ever top shelf projectile they are offering. They have dirt cheap pull down FMJ that I get for cheap also. Craig
Thanks, so are they blemished, or what? Those are some great prices
Just pull downs. Some are stated as blems but sometimes it's weight like 123 that wanted to be 125. Clearly stated on every round. Craig
