Where's our brass? While they are saying 10cm we all know that 1 cm is 10mm...
As of January 2019, the US Space Surveillance Network reported nearly 34,000 artificial objects in orbit above the earth are larger than 10 cm, 900.000 objects ranging in size from 1 to 10 cm, and more than 128 million pieces of debris smaller than 1 cm. Most space junk is moving pretty fast and can reach a speed of 18.000 miles per hour, almost 7 times the speed of a bullet! 🌎
