Title: Derraco Priming Tool
Post by: 10 Round on June 06 2025 12:04:50 PM MDT
I just got a derraco primer tool.
I like it.
I like things set precisely this tool does that. I have it set for 4 and a 1/2 Thousands seems to be perfect with exact head stamp brass  with once fired brass mixed head, stamp I'm getting 3 to 5 thousands with most right at 4 or 4 and a 1/2

When primer prices went through the roof and I had a few crushed primers in 5.56/223 cases even after using primer pocket uniforming cutters.  I broke out my RAM press priming tools from my RCBS Big Max press.  Both Large primer and Small primer push pins.
Fully adjustable for primer depth in the pockets. This worked very well and had not had any messed-up primers while using it!

These things really make a difference. I was all over the place from 0 To eleven thousandths there's still those one CBD (i think they're high) cases or something that it just will not go down very far.
