Evening folks, any of you have experience with the Taurus TH10? As with most Taurus firearms, their QC is questionable, but with their lifetime warranty, I decided to chance it and ordered one up last night. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated

Firearms and ANY form of questionable reliability is reason enough for me to stay away. As a matter of facts, I avoid ANY product that has shown reliability issues.
I vote with my wallet. Bad items don't see any of my money, and really good items get all the money. I rather own just one particular product of quality, than 4 with mid tear or even worse quality.
Buying compromises never made sense in my book. Its either quality, or nothing at all.
In an ideal world, most would get the best and most proven, or get nothing at all, however many of us don't live in that place
I guess if it's just a range gun, then it's no big deal. But if you're going to carry this hiking in the city or use it for home defense, then maybe you should think twice. Put $10 away.
Every paycheck and get the proven or try to buy a used one.

A proven reliable pistol is only 100 bucks more. That's way less money than my weekly grocery bill.
Hey Crockett, I totally agree. So far I've run 200 rd's of everything from Underwood's 180gr Range Supply, Underwood's 165gr, 135gr, and some 200gr Gold Dot hand loads. If I can run another 2-3 hundred rd's of varying ammo with zero malfunctions, that's plenty of reliability testing for me. I frequently carry my P220 Elite, but would prefer a higher capacity like the TH10

There's a saying around my neck: Friends don't let friends buy Taurus. Or HighPoint. I have been around firearms for over 50 years.
Its obviously your money and your decision, and some people like to buy "whatever", just to have something new.
If this is just a "for fun" gun, its all good. But I would never consider to carry one, and 500 rounds is not that much.
I had 1k rounds through my Sig 365 before the firing pin failed. I did the upgrade myself but will never trust it for carry or HD.
I have over 5k rounds through my daily, a G42, and not one failure - not even a stove pipe with weak handloads.
Absolutely, you just never know, but some are just more reliable than others
I really wanna like Taurus but man they have made some not so great guns. Their 1911's stand out in my mind as a what were they thinking?
But, their PT clones of the Beretta 92 series guns are solid. I have owned one and shot several and I have never had any issues with them. And I actually prefer the thumb safety manual of arms on the Taurus version to the modern Beretta slide mounted lever. However, I own two beretta's - a 92G and a 96 turned G and no PT's at this point. So....
Thanks Sqlbullet, I believe they have improved over the last few years, but are still hit and miss. It really comes down to this, any firearm can fail, just some more than others😀

Given the price of the TH10, I would probably take a chance on one.
Buddy of mine runs a shop. He said that he gets most returns and warranty shipments on Taurus guns. That went to a state that he stopped selling them. He's been a LGS for over 20 years.
Those are details that stick with me, because the sample rate is MUCH higher compared to those of owners.
