GR, nice to see this added, would some form of a feedback rating be possible also for sellers/buyers?

I will look into it but sounds like something way to advanced for my code writing skills.
Nice add on to the site GR!! ;D
Nice addd on GR and if it need to be a paid section so be it. Charge a membership to sell. Buying should be free.
Check out itrader for ratings. It works well on calguns.net

A simple and quick solution is a feedback section within the classifieds.
This website is provided for us on someone else's dime and time. Adding a for sale or classified sections is something I'd asked for in the past.
That being said I think it a bit much to ask that it be a quasi auction/sales site with feedback and ratings for buyers and sellers. Whether simple, or complex, it does require more uncompensated time programming for something that is being shared freely and without advertisement, etc. My point is leave it simple and see if it works.....
YMMV
I agree with keeping it simple, but a feedback section would be fairly simple and would hopefully weed out or discourage trouble makers, IF people leave and check for feedback. Currently this forum is small enough that word-of-mouth would probably work well for any problems. My main experience is with the S&W forum. There is a feedback section there, but I don't get the sense that people actually use it very consistently.
Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Now I wish I had something to sell, LOL.
Thank you for the addition. I am one of those 10mm fanatics and will looking at items for sale often.
Simple sticky for feedback. +1 or -1 and possibly -- for a neutral maybe.
All good with rules and regs
Great, looking forward to reading and possibly using this section.
Jim
Another good idea from other boards is if you have sold your item, please EDIT your Subject (Title) heading with the words SOLD.
This prevents people from wasting time opening threads, getting to the bottom and finding out the Item was sold long ago.

On Caguns.net I have 5800 posts; we use the itrader system (I have a 100% itrader rating with 64 transactions). I only mention this because when fellow members ship expensive items cross-country, a positive rating system gives a buyer or seller some confidence. We've had a few scammers, but they had no itrader rating. Something to consider in the future if the For Sale section here gets large. :)
Be well
Bob
New to this forum and not looking to sell anything right away (need 23 more posts) lol. But is it safe to assume a new guy can purchase from the for sale section?
Thanks!
It's kind of buyer beware if you purchase from someone with low history on the board. We know many of the longer tenure members though! I would just CYA when doing a transaction and make sure as best possible it's legit.
Thank you for the add. Just started collecting a couple years ago.
Simple

Folks,
I agree, having an opportunity to rate transactions would be a nice feature under "For Sale".
I'm new to the forum, still feeling around. Thanks for letting me join.
