IFG is currently in the process of moving our U.S. facilities.  We plan to resume normal operation May 2013.  We appreciate your patience during this time of transition and look forward to doing business with you then.

This was on their website but they didn't mention where they were moving to or why.

IFG owns EAA (Tanfoglio) so there may be a delay in production/distribution of weapons and parts so who knows..... ::)

To be clear, EAA is the importer of Tanfoglio guns, not the owner of Tanfoglio.

Even if EAA drops off the planet, someone else will pick up the line.  Before EAA had them Springfield imported guns from Tanfoglio.

Oops, that's right. I still don't quite know what exactly what it will mean to American shooters, if anything. I don't own any of them anyway but they are good guns though. I don't think Tanfoglio is going anywhere either.

They carried some unique pieces EAA doesn't offer. Canada has even more but don't think it's possible to get them.

All in all I would love to see another company get a shot at Tanfoglio for import.  EAA is a black mark on the face of all Tanfoglio products in the US.
