Title: Sierra 165gr SportMaster wetpack test
Post by: 475/480 on July 08 2013 06:24:54 AM MDT
Got to the land this weekend and shot the Sierra 165gr into wetpack.
2 bullets on right were shot into wetpack at 1300 fps
Diameter: .680 x .655" weight = 164.8gr
Diameter: .674 x .651" weight = 165.1gr picked up a little paper.
1 bullet on left shot into wetpack at 1430 fps
Diameter: .782 x .765" weight = 163.0gr
Good weight retention and expanded diameters

Sean.

Nice!  Looks like they hold up well to 10mm velocities.

I agree that they held up impressively.  Good to see.  There's not as much feedback floating around for Sierra Bullets from 10mm on the WWW.

Very good info on these bullets.   I have had Great luck when using them in my 445 supermag of various weights and velocities of up to 1800 fps .  They are one of my Favorite bullets to use.

SO It doesn't suprise me to see them do well.  I am going to have to pick some of these up for the 10mm.
