That's a new one we haven't seen. Is this an expensive or hard to get powder?
RamShot powers (Western Powder Co., handles RamShot and the Accurate Arms products) are available and are reasonably priced. They have a fairly good selection and it maybe what is being used in the Ted Nugent ammo.
The powders they show for 10mm are; Silhouette, True Blue

***The data for the Barnes appears to be incorrect as the seating depths are that of 40S&W***

I can clearly see the yellow powder. Does most canister Blue Dot not have that? Is their a special one with flash suppressant?
First I ever saw that in Blue Dot powder hence the notations. It could be an additive? ???

RightToBear gave me 1285 FPS with 10.8gr's. Right on!
Yes these were following powder manufacture's published data except for the yellow dust? ??? So the velocities were very close or at the stated velocities.
I think the case crimp could have been just a little bit tighter, I'd like to see just a bit more closure at the front edge of the case mouth.
I will pass that on and ask Greg if he can enlighten me on the yellow dust. ;D
The kind of loose crimp... worse case for that would be it could give you set-back?
The bullets were held fairly well by the case tension alone, however it was the very edges that almost seemed to stick out, like the flair was not tapered back against the bullet enough...In a temperamental weapon that might be enough to cause feeding issues. :-\
IC, if you find out about the "Yellow Dust" I'd be very interested to hear what they had to say. ???
I sent him a message. We have seen it before and for sure in the Nugent/Pierce rounds.
