Title: Update on PBR Ammo 135, 155 and 200's
Post by: Intercooler on January 18 2014 02:40:04 PM MST
Hi Jesse,Here is where we stand right now.155s - We're ready to go into production, development is done135s - Development loads need to be shot, confirmed, and then we're ready for production220s - Needs R&D, dev loads, confirmation, and then productionThe number one issue standing in the way right now is brass, we have none. I'm backordered with everyone that we use and nothing is shipping. I'm hoping Starline delivers soon, we've got a couple Industrial drums with them and if they deliver we'll be able to get about 30k loaded out. We'll do 1/2 in the V-Supreme and 1/2 in the normal Premium Line.Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA from Starline on brass, I'm guessing March or April but I have no guarantee at this point in time. We've been on top of JAG about brass as well, trying to get some from them as well, nothing happening there either but we keep calling every month. It is an extremely frustrating position for us because we want to get 10mm out there because I feel like we have a great loading and as David's tests show we deliver on our numbers with reliable functionality and at a competitive cost.

Anthony is being brutally honest about the things going on! :o
Components are scarce even for the ammo makers....That's why I haven't driven the 80 miles to Baton Rouge just to look for other powders, primers, bullets, etc., they may not be there and a wasted trip!  :-[

Someday things will get better! ???

Tell that to Obummer. He either won't believe it, or doesn't care.

The brass is on the way. I hope to see these in the next couple of weeks for testing.
