Title: Indiana and Unlawful Entry
Post by: sqlbullet on June 13 2012 01:16:09 PM MDT
This (http://www.allgov.com/Top_Stories/ViewNews/Indiana_First_State_to_Allow_Citizens_to_Shoot_Law_Enforcement_Officers_120611).

Clearly the court should have ruled on the question of whether the entry was lawful, rather than trying to legislate from the bench to abrogate an existing right.  But is this legislative action the best way to reel in the judicial?  Or should the executive have quietly enacted careful policies and review until the court straightened itself out?  Or something else entirely?

What say you?

Rulings coming down have been more intrusive against citizens in alot of diff levels. This would not be an issue if courts did their job on a case by case bases. And yes,a basic right by the Constitution was disregarded by the Court. And here we are and this is what we got.
