Title: G29 Grip extensions
Post by: No Rush on March 20 2014 12:25:50 PM MDT
What is everyone's experience with the grip extensions out there?

Xgrip just released theirs for the 20 to 29. I have them but have not tried them out yet.
How well do the A&G extensions work?
Will the A&G work for the gen4 models?
Are there any other company's that make a product like this?

I use the Pearce +0 grip ext for mt G-29 mags, the provide a place for the pinky finger and add to better control.

When using a 15 rd mags, I use the A&G sleeves to fill in the space.  Also a good option.

I have the pearce extensions for the pinky on my three  standard 29 mags.

I bought 3 g20 mags recently and wanted to out grip extexsions on them.
So I bought the brand new released xgrip extension 2 weeks ago. I have not been to the range to use them yet. But...
What is consensus of the A&G style extensions?

Shadow...
Do you like the A&G?
Do you know if  they work on gen4 models?
I have had one store say yes and another store say no.

Does anyone know how to get in contact with A&G directly?

I like the A&G sleeves and they fit well...

I haven't heard one way or the other if the fit gen4 mags, but I don't see why they would not, because the sleeves slide down to the bottom of the mag and the difference from previous generations and the gen 4 is the ambi cut.

I haven't had a chance to mess with the xgrip type.

I bought Pearce extensions for each of my four G29 magazines before they arrived. I know my hands would need them.

Work quite well.
