Gen 3 aluminum frame 4043 that was a local pawn shop find. I replaced my Glock 29 with it as my normal carry pistol when I don't want to deal with the weight of my 1066. Ran a few hundred rounds at the range with it a couple days ago and she shot flawlessly.
Shot pretty well with it but fought the DAO heavy trigger pull and had to really take my time with it to get decent groups. Long smooth pull that is what I wanted with a carry pistol but heavier than it needs to be so so I ordered a reduced power hammer spring pack from Wolff last night. When I get it tweaked in this one should be a really nice shooter. I had a store credit at the shop and was looking for an EDC pistol that wasn't made of tactical tupperware so--.
Here she is

Ascension, nice find! Pistol looks to be in great shape from the picture you supplied. You'll have to provide a range report, as to its accuracy. Thanks, for the post.

Ran a hundred rounds last Friday and it grouped well. Sights were dead on (unlike my 1066 which shot quite LOW with the S&W factory night sights). Only hitch was the heavier than I like DAO trigger pull. Ordered a set of reduced power Hammer springs ( 16,17 and 18 lb) From Wolff as well as a standard power recoil spring that should be here early this week. Keep you posted on the progress.
Great pistol, good luck with the spring project! :D
I had a 4046 all steel model. That thing was a tank! I wish I still had it.
Good luck with yours!
