Title: xtp. over speer?
Post by: SagSlim59 on September 25 2014 06:59:32 AM MDT
Fine tuning my practice time with different ammo
Have the usual suspects,  Hornady 200 gr,  BB. 180 jhp.
Pbr. 180 gr jhp. and u. w. xtp. 180 gr

So, are the u.w. Speers something I should consider or stick with this. ( gunbot posted these Speers in stock.

Any thoughts would be great.
Kent. .. (taking out the Blackhawk thus season)

The Speer Gold Dot is among the best HP bullets for 10mm in testing.  They tend to hold together very well.

I forgot to mention, Michigan whitetails,  150 to 180 #

sqlbullet...thx, I think I will order a box of those Speers
The  180 gr should be plenty with good shot placement
