Title: Anybody shooting a Witness compact?
Post by: Da/Sa Fan on October 24 2014 02:36:01 AM MDT
OK, So I'm pretty well set on getting a Witness Match for my first ten, although part of me keeps saying that the double action Wonder finish and a hundred bucks might be good enough. Thinking ahead though, I was always planning on getting a smaller gun for a car gun. Had been thinking a Tristar C-100 in 10mm short. Everybody knows, though, that ten is better so I was wondering if the little Tanfoglio deals with hot ten loads.

Several guys here have Witness Compact guns in 10mm.  Search for Witness Compact, you will get 2+ pages of hits.  Many of the threads are about range outings and the springs that make them run with hot loads.

Go with Tri Star. Compacts in EAA no good.

I have the witness p carry which is a full size frame with a compact slide, the only issue I have with it is it jams on occasion on the last round in the mag but only with hot loads. A coworker has the compact still all stock and runs perfect.
