Is that 9122? I haven't personally tested that one and might spring for it if I can get an order together.

ammunitiondepot.com has the 155 as well (got a box a few weeks ago, works great in the 29).....they specifically list it as 9122.

Most definitely 9122....Captripps has it right.

I would like to see it tested as well.

Edit: It looks like David got 1270 out of his Glock, but I have seen it faster chronoed by others.

Are they a problem to find? A quick search shows me Midway, Cheaper Than Dirt, Graf And Sons, Midsouth Shooters, Natchez Shooters, and Wideners all have it in stock.

Yeah I noticed this as well. I guess Hornady is making it again, which is a good thing.

Shocker of the day :) After I sent the first one over (kind of loose on the grip), I knew these were moving out and had to "tighten up". These are real 10mm and exceed the flap rating a good bit! They could probably use 1325 FPS for the rating out of a Glock 4.6" barrel.

EAA Elite Limited 4.75" 1334, 1386, 1326, 1382, 1363. Average = 1358.2 FPS/ 635 LBS.

Very nice! I knew I liked this load for a reason. Thanks for the report.

Intercooler - Thanks for the report, after reading it I ordered 10 boxes.  I haven't been able to get to the range for a while but I will be ready to try these in the EAA Match and Limited Pro.  If time allows I will run a few of them through the Heinie Logh Slide and the Wilson Tactical Elite too.  And if the range conditions permit I will shoot these over the chronograph.  It might be a couple of weeks before I can get to the range but will give a report once I go.

I would like to try the Georgia Arms some day as well.

Though, as I get closer to retirement, I won't be permitted to carry hollowpoints anymore in this fine state. So I am backing off on ordering large quantities of them.

One thing I like about the Hornady is the XTP bullet, which is a "hard" bullet and will be able to stand up to the increase in velocity.

Now....if Hornady would up the velocity on its Critical Duty 10mm, we would have another winner!

Retire across the river brother. Still close enough to visit if need be. Get out of that place. Today is Vepr 12 NIB test day.

PA and NJ are both on the high tax list, with NJ maybe being a little worse  :P

MD sucks pretty bad on the gun part, but the taxes are close to DE on the cheap  ;D

Jersey is off the charts with taxes.. PA, you have to go west of the Philly burbs. Also NJ gun laws are beyond insane. But in reality, the area is condensed.

I might just end up in PA some day.

Yeah....I want taxes and property on the cheap with good gun laws!

With latest election in Pa, current Gov Corbett (Republican) actually lost considering the wave across country voting R. Good thing is, the House and Senate expanded with R's and are VERY PRO GUN.

Then you need to move to Florida like all the other retirees. Land is cheap as long as you don't mind a bit of dampness & no income tax. They hand you your concealed carry permit & a pair of waders at the welcome center :D And, I never exaggerate!

Please explain further. Why would you not be able to carry hollowpoints as you near retirement?

I meant that I am nearing retirement, and when I actually do retire I won't be permitted by law to carry hollowpoints in NJ anymore.

I don't know, but it sounds like NJ made a law that geezers can't carry hollow points!! :P

I know that isn't what you mean, it's just funny the way it came across to me.

But I'm warped. ;D

I just ordered 6 boxes from Midway. I think the total was $97.53 which included shipping. They had their Black Friday $20 off on orders over $100. Has anyone checked the velocity of these out of a 5 inch barrel 1911?

Sportsman's Guide have them for $16.14 and free shipping I think.

Intercooler got 1358 out of his 4.75 inch Witness. That is the closest I know of to a 5 inch gun. I would love to see these clocked out of a Delta.

Depending on the barrel you can expect a 30 FPS gain. In a 1006 barrel you won't see an increase.
