Thanks to pacapcop for the trade to get these tested! I thought we ran them through the grinder already  ;D

I'm still looking for the old Elite Ammo 10mm rounds if anyone has a couple.

Cheers. They are faster than D/T's Nosler 200. 1076 fps out of a Witness 4.5. VS ?

I want to see what's inside. Has anyone ever heard of Ten Ring powder?

These look like a pretty safe player in most all platforms. I would expect about 1200 FPS out of a G20 4.6" barrel.

EAA Elite Limited 4.75" 1225, 1245, 1252, 1227, 1239. Average = 1237.6 FPS/ 680 LBS

Thanks for the report.

680 foot / lbs isn't bad at all.

I bet they'd do quite well in gel.

Supposedly Nosler designed them for Doubletap and their 10mm load. Reportedly these were designed with penetration in mind.

Edit: Here they are on the Doubletap site

He said he fired the 200 grain Nosler into water jugs at 1050 fps. The lead core was found in the grass, not pictured.

Water is a poor test.

Yeah maybe, but you don't see XTP's behaving like that.

In water? Post an XTP water video if you have one.

Raggedyman tested this from doubletap.  I wasnt that impressed. Went ~ 1075 fps and ~15" in gel. Recovered at 192gr.  I would have thought better pen and less weight shed.

Links edited.

I am not trying to start a "pissing match." Either you like the Nosler or you don't. The purpose is to give the readers of this forum as much knowledge as we can in order to allow shooters to make an educated decision regarding which load / bullet is best for them.

Thank you!

Thanks. They all look like 180 videos and various types. Did I miss the 200 XTP? I haven't seen one to date.

The last time we had a pissing match here, I recall it upset the moderator (Shadow).

Do the right thing and drop it.

No pissing going on here (If it was me you were referring to). I just wanted to see something to compare Apples to Apples. I come here to learn just like everyone else, but have searched high and low for a 10mm 200gr XTP or 200gr Gold Dot water jug video. It wouldn't sway me one way or the other if one existed somewhere. I'm not a fan of any one bullet.
