Title: another new guy with 10mm Glocks
Post by: jazzsax8 on February 02 2015 09:59:07 AM MST
Just signed up a few days ago to post.  Have been shooting/reloading for revolvers for the past 40 years and finally stumbled upon the argument for the 10mm.  Bought a used Glock 29SF Gen3 a couple of months ago along with the stuff to reload.  Found a nice KKM 29 4.6" barrel that is working out well.  A month later discovered a 20SF Gen3 with lots of extras so why not!  It has a KKM 5.15" threaded barrel and I just picked up a LW 6.02" for it just to compare.  I usually hit the range a couple of times a week with new loads and my crony in hand.  I have learned a lot reading the posts on all things Glock and its a great new adventure.

Hope to post something more significant soon and a big thank you to all that have shared some valuable information.

Welcome to the addiction Marshall!

I don't make it over the mountains as much as I used to, but I know where Greeley is.  My sister-in-law lived in Boulder until a few years back, so we would drive over from Salt Lake a couple times a year.

Looking forward to hearing contributions from a seasoned reloader!

Hello Marshall, Welcome to the forum and congrats with your procurement of the G-20 and G-29 and all the goodies!  8)
They should serve you well.  I use the Wolff Gun Springs non captive recoil rods and spring sets in mine, the 22lb for G-20 and the 21lb for the G-29.  I like that these springs add to the pressure require to move the slide from battery as measured in real world measurements.

Best regards!  :D
