We're even then......I like that Buckeye Ruger you have. ;D Actually, the P-38 just photos well. I call it a 'Wauser' as it's a non matching Walther slide and barrel on a Mauser frame. Shoots well, tho.
Mostly seeing if I could figure out how to post a photo.
Very nice!!!
My buddy has a beautiful Luger that I just love.
Does the candle make them smell better ;D

Originally I posted this on a motorcycle forum I used to frequent. Some had a little different political view than I........this was around the time the Brady campaign was using the 'Light a Candle' for firearm deaths ads. I thought it a subtle satire.......they never noticed. ;D My deceased father in law brought back the swastika arm band emblem and a few other German army souvenirs from WWII.
Very nice, old guns! :D
A good friend of mine (now deceased) had the P-38 and a Broom Handle Mauser (both Very Good condition), I wish I could have gotten them back then. I gave them a good cleaning for him, I think his sons wound up with them.
Thought of getting a Broomhandle at one time but like a lot of older guns you have to be very careful to find one worth the cost. None are cheap but many should be..... ;)
I have always loved the look of a p-38. Just a nice looking gun. And ahead of it's time. If only they had made it double stack, it would have been WAY ahead of it's time.

They did!
They just wanted to sell a shipload of them before introducing the P-88! :D
