For my purposes the F1 is plenty good and I think this video shows that.

I switched from the Chrony brand to the Competition Electronics Pro Chrono, because my friend had one and it was far more reliable at giving good readings in less than perfect light conditions. I can't imagine myself ever buying a Chrony brand again, the Pro Chrono is so much easier to use and rarely misses a shot with any caliber, including shotguns.

Not to mention, the buttons are actually labeled with what they do, such as "delete string" rather than some obscure code that you have to look in the manual to decipher.

I have an F1 and I used a great deal of careful research to decide on that one.  It's price matched the money in my pocket one day at the store ;D.  Been plenty happy with it so far.
