Title: VP40 - Opinion LE or standard?
Post by: cwall64 on July 01 2015 08:23:27 AM MDT
I can't decide which to get, with all of my other HK pistols I have the regular 3 dot sights and 2 clips. Just wondering what others are buying. Are the sights on the LE that much better? I can't think of any pistols that I have with night sites (3 Dot Tritium Night Sights), but wondering if others think they are worth it...

Yes, the LE version is worth it.  The mags will probably become as hard to find as the ones for the VP9/P30 are now.  Might want to get some spares now (even if you do get the LE).  Here they are in stock (6 right now):  http://www.crosscreekguns.com/HKmags.html

thanks for the link!  I was looking somewhere else and Cross Creek was a little less on the mag!  I did pickup the LE version (locally) and one extra mag (from Cross Creek) as you suggested.  Unfortunately I had an eye exam this morning and was not able to shoot it after buying.
