Anyone do this for ease of carry. I recent picked up a gen 4 glock 33 and love the way it shoots, its got good power sometimes towards the lower power 10 loads. Any thoughts, Good decision or no>
I must tell you, I am 100% a 10mm fan.
But guess what? I bought a .357 Sig Nightmare and love it. I shoot this better than most of my 10mms. I then bought the Glock 33 with a 9mm and 40 Lone Wolf conversions.
The G 33 is my carry gun, that's how much I like it. Easier to carry than my G 29.
The G 33 is one of the top CCW out there.
I love the 357sig. I carry my G32 most of the time. My G26 (same size as the G33) doesn't get the carry time it used too. I would take a G33; it is on my list.
48conkli, I have the G-29 10mm but also have the 357Sig conversion barrel for it so I am well versed in the 357Sig cartridge and my G-29 carries well IWB or OWB.
That's one of the best things about these 10mm guns a mere swap of the barrel and your can have a multi cartridge platform
For my G-29 I have 10mm/40S&W/357Sig and 9x25Dillon and for the G-20 I have 10mm/9mm 6" and the 9x25Dillon 6". My goal is to also get the 357Sig and 10mm in the 6" lengths in the near future just because...
The 357Sig is a great cartridge and many powders work well for it but bullet choices need to be selected to have the crimp on a straight side and not on the ogive of say a FMJ 9mm bullet to prevent setback issues.
I have a SIG P250 subcompact that as it sits, can fire 9mm, .40 cal, or 357 SIG. If I felt like spending more money, I could also make it work with .45 ACP.
