Title: IBA groin protector test
Post by: Raggedyman on August 27 2015 10:20:45 AM MDT
The soft panels from IBA and IOTV armor are not technically NIJ rated but they are said to be approximately Level IIIA. We shot a .44 mag at one to find out if that's accurate.

That's like putting two apples in a sock and hitting with a baseball bat. There is nothing there that protects the groin.
