Looking at purchasing my first 10 mm for open carry/car carry. For some reason I'm having trouble finding if the Witness comes in SAO that can be carried cocked & locked. Most of what I find is DA/SA online, but I saw a youtube video the guy said was SAO. Thanks!
The Witness Elite Match is SAO, and an SAO trigger pack can be swapped into any of the Witness guns.
The standard DA/SA is also capable of condition 1 carry as the safety is NOT a de-cocking device. I have carried my witness full size this way alot.
The pistol was built to be carried this way if you chose to do so. There shouldn't be a problem.
Condition 1 works just fine on the standard da/sa witness. That's how I prefer to carry mine.
My advice is to buy it, shoot it, carry it everywhere you can and be a happy man. The Witness is a great gun.
