Title: BE-86 test 9mm / 380
Post by: The_Shadow on November 28 2015 09:12:05 AM MST
Tested the 9mm through the Glock 20SF using the LWD 9mm 6" barrel and captive reduced weight spring.
I did have some feeding issues as some were hanging up in the G-20 10mm magazine lips (I'll investigate that a little more).  I probably just buy a 9mm gun someday...Anyway here are those results.

115 grain JHP over 6.6grains BE-86
CCI 500  COAL 1.1010"
Velocity 1386 - 1365 fps

125 grain Lyman Devastator cast HP over 6.6grains BE-86
CCI 500  COAL 1.0800"
Velocity 1333 - 1341 fps

Tested the 380 using the Ruger LCP (these bullets are too heavy but SHTF maybe)

125 grain cast round nose over 3.0 grains of AutoComp
CCI 500 COAL 0.9480"
Velocity 750 - 780 fps

Did you work up any 10mm loads with BE-86?
I have a bunch of BE-86 on hand and was wondering if anyone has fine tuned a load.
The Alliant site on has 1 load, which is fine, but guys who reload like to tweak.
