Title: Back on line today
Post by: The_Shadow on March 08 2016 03:22:32 PM MST
Back on line today, DSL dies at 8:30pm last night and then the phone at 9pm, just got my phone and internet service restored.  My AT&T tech (this one with a few years service and knowledge) managed to get me on a different and good pair of wire back to the central office here.  So its good to be back up and running!   ;D

Now you guys get to put up with my nonsense again! ::)

If you ever drop att dsl it's hard to get them back . They have a fixed number of customers per area and once that number is met no body can get a new line .I miss my dsl . We buy Mobile data through our cell provider $$$$ :o

hikfromstik, Yes I know that all too well, we dropped out long distance on our home phone and the clerk who was making the change took it upon herself to put me on U-Verse (without our consent) at that time to gain a commision I suppose.

Anyway long story short U-Verse was 1/2 the speed (0.6 Mbs) of the DSL I was paying for at 1.5 Mbs but only get about 1.3 at the most...It took a month and a half to get me back where I was...

Blades, when it comes to the 10mm stuff it isn't nonsense, it is passion, learning experience and preservation of our favorite semi auto pistol cartridge.   ;)
