It contains some pull-down data just like myself and The Shadow do here.
Impressive. Identical FPE as 180 gr. 10mm at 1300 FPS, but falls short by almost half momentum and TKO. About double that of a 35 gr. 5.7x28 at 2100 FPS. It would likely defeat Class III SBA.
Yep, I measured 14.6 of what appears to be HS-6
I have to wonder if he measured the tiny tit from the turning left on the base of the bullet as part of the bullet length.
Here is what I saw:
Cartridge is from Ammo Manufacture: Liberty Civil Defense 60gr LFHP
Ballistics Information: 10mm Auto
Muzzle Velocity: 2400 fps
Muzzle Energy: 780 ft. lbs
Brass Make/Headstamp: Star Line - Nickel
Bullet Make/Weight/Construction/Info; Length 0.5020"/Dia. 0.4005": 60gr. LFHP
Actual weight 59.6 grains (maybe nickel plated copper zinc core)
HP depth 0.4200" / HP dia 0.1850" tapered / mouth dia 0.2240"
C.O.A.L.: 1.2550" (lathe cut) (flat base) bullet actual diameter 0.3910" *(see band info)*
Primer: Large Pistol Nickel color
Case: Diameter 0.4220" Crimp Diameter 0.4215" (heavy) Length 0.9870"
Powder Description/Positive ID/Type/Charge Weight: ? HS-6 ? 14.6 grains**
*Bullet is a bore riding diameter of 0.3910" and has 2 groove riding bands that reduce friction; top band 0.4000" base band 0.4005"
**Powder looks like HS-6 although it is 14.6 grain charge the light bullet weight and groove riding bands are used to reduce friction and provide the gas seal.
667 foot pounds. Nothing crazy, especially considering the light bullet weight.

Good point on the armor. I might think about packing a mag for armor laden suspects.
Thanks IC..
It is interesting, crazy velocity. However, I believe I will stick with 175 Silvertip for the time being :)
