Title: Thank you Intercooler!
Post by: Bluefish on May 23 2016 06:54:18 PM MDT
I have always loved the 10mm,  after reading many threads by intercooler about various rounds, factory and otherwise, I knew I had to have a tanfoglio. For a couple of years I toyed with buying a  match but took the plunge and got myself a limited pro.
What a beauty! Just blown away, it fits my hand so well and seems pretty well made for the money. I bought 4 extra mags and 4 more boxes of sig fmj and am heading to the range tomorrow.
Intercooler was a big help, answering many questions and pointing me in the right direction. Thanks for all help, I am happy with this new platform.
If anyone can point me to a good leather holster I would be grateful, it just seems too sweet for kydex. Russ

No problem! I have owned a few Tanfoglios and still keep them. In 10mm I have owned about all except a Glock and still think the Tanfoglio is the best 10mm currently out there for the money.  8)

How much more do you love the limited pro than the match? I own the match and a steel full size. I was in the market for the limited pro but my gun store had me waiting for 5 months and their vendor still hadn't received any. I asked if they had the match and the answer was yes. Got it to me a few days later for 579. Couldn't be happier with it really. Shoots as well as a 2000 dollar 1911 and holds 14 10mm.

Dave, I wrote that wrong. I only handled the match a few times and tried a friend's 9 match.
Intercooler can speak to that. I for some reason wanted da/sa and I am glad I got the limited pro.
If it works out I will get a hunter and put optics on it this fall.

Both are great. The main difference is SAO or DA/SA. The Match is best bang for the buck!

Thanks man. That's good to hear. I had my heart set on the other one back then but I've been very happy with my match. Only one ftf and that was when it was brand new. Well over a thousand rounds through her. Shoots as well if not better than my other target grade guns.
