Title: Another fan of the Sig ammo
Post by: Kentuckydiesel on June 01 2016 06:04:15 AM MDT
Bought a box of 50 a few weeks ago and finally had a chance to put it through my Witness.

I don't have a chrono, but it definitely has more "snappy" feel to it than the Federal American Eagle and Remington UMC practice ammo I have been using.  I let the Witness eat 50 rounds of the Federal, then went to the Sig.  Despite any talk about feeding issues with the Sig, I didn't have any problems.  I only ran 36 rounds of the Sig through because I liked it so well I wanted to keep 14 for my spare mag.  My accuracy actually improved with the Sig ammo, then fell off somewhat when I went I went to a box of the Remington.

I'm done with trying different brands for a while.  The Sig is the best reasonably priced 10mm ammo I have found yet.  Will be going back to Cabellas for a couple hundred rounds this weekend.  By the way, they're showing 200 rounds of Sig 10mm on their website for $89.24 right now.

I like the Sig 10mm ammo. It has some oomph, and would make a nice Delta Elite load due to the power level.
