Been lurking and reading as I was trying to decide on my next 10mm purchase. I have a Glock 20 and it's a great gun but its the proverbial "lumber" cannon. Wanted sometime more ergonomic and sexy! This is what I picked and it came in today! What a beauty! Fits my hand like a glove and I really like the balance. As expected, the trigger is smoooooth. I thought it might feel heavier but the weight is great. Feels a lot like my Beretta 96A1. Only initial issue is the slide is really tough to rack. Anyone with this experience? Will this loosen up with some rounds down the pipe? Heading to the range Saturday and will report back on the experience. Thanks to all for your other posts and information. T

Is it the stock spring in it? If that's the case it shouldn't be hard to rack the slide. I run a 22lb Wolff in my 4.75" Witness pistols and 20lb in the 6". I don't really have a problem if you use the punch method.
It would pay dividends to spring it and put a Henning cone guide rod in. I see more people going with the Dawson fiber front sight these days if you opt for that.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking at the Henning cone guide rod & stronger spring since that seemed to be a common thread about the Tanfoglio 10mm guns. A couple questions, should I just do those 2 things or is it worth splurging for the upgrade kit? Also, I don't have any experience working on firearms outside of field striping and cleaning, are these upgrades something I can do or do I need to employ a gunsmith? Thanks- T

I still have the original firing pins and springs in mine. I had the Henning firing pin long ago and sold it.

That kit has some nice parts in it and could be a good buy for the right price. You might want to customize it outside of that too though.
I would just do those two things. Taking down the lower assembly would be well outside my comfort zone. I detail stripped the slide but that has waaay less going on.
