Hey everyone! Hope you guys can help this noobie, I went ahead and listed my Bren ten with ammo cartridge on gunbroker today and I'm still unsure on how much I should relastically want for it. I have a reserve price of $1,200 and a buy it now for $4,500 because I'd personally be slap happy with 3,500 + but I could use some opinions from anyone willing to give me some insight on what to expect or ask for lol. Thanks!
Here's a pic of the gun

I would set the reserve at what you want for it at a minimum.
If $3000 is enough, set the reserve there. If you want $3500, set it there.
You can always come down.
Wildauct, Nice Bren Ten I have been following the Bren Market for quite sometime and finding someone to give over the $3000 mark for the Standard Model is tough and needs to be a serious buyer. $3000 is about the average these days.
You may be required to use a Federally Licensed Firearm Dealer to ship the firearm legally, beings you are not licensed FFL. Some people can accept firearms from no FFL persons.
My suggestion is getting better pictures posted to enhance your sale's opportunity! Better lighting, clear focus and details will go a long way to the buyer's decision.
If ever you were wanting a keepsake being it was your dad's this would be a great piece to hang on to...
Thanks for the pictures you posted I added them to my files for reference.
Hey thanks so much for your detailed response and ice actually received two emails from buyers on gunbroker with a offer of $3100 and waiting on the second on now. I seem to be getting a lot of messages by email but yet I only have 9 watchers and 1 bid for $600 so far if you haven't checked it out its in the hand guns collectible I also took your advice and took more pics!
Hey Shadow - how did your Bren Ten sale end up? (Or is it still in the works?)
I've got one with a (beat-up) box, padded mailer, manual, and two mags that I'm going to be letting go.
Thanks!
Bryan T.
I did not sell mine...Likely never will... ;D

I was high bidder on the Bren Ten referenced in this thread. I contacted the seller and he was a real goofball. He wanted the money immediately and wanted PayPal as he runs an internet business with it. My PayPal is connected to a credit card so I knew had a way out. The seller disappeared so I canceled the credit card and filed a protest with PayPal.
PayPal credited my account right away so he must not have protested it. He would not answer my phone calls and I have no idea what happened to the pistol.
I was kind of afraid of this just from his wording on his first post.
