Title: Memorial Day Reloading
Post by: Pablo on May 29 2017 12:49:15 PM MDT
Family was sleeping late, food prepared, so I went out to the shop and made some more 10mm ammo.

HAP 180gr Bullets, max loads again with AA#9 (13.5gr), Longshot (10gr) and Blue Dot (11gr) AND some BE-86 8.2gr rounds. Winchester primers. Starline and some Sig brass.

I'm loadin a few here too.

10mm with 165 gr Bayou T/C with a decent amount of Power Pistol and 9mm with 124 gr Bayou T/C and a much lighter load of W231.

Looking good.  Gonna be to busy this summer with my oldest getting married, but once the nuptials are done I have a bunch of bullets to load.

Pablo, all of those loads you listed are at max...hope you gun or guns are setup for the task!

With good chamber support and lockup they should be fine...inspect some of the fired brass to be sure though.

I should have pointed out that ammo can is for my AR only. Hasn't shown any issues........in fact, it really doesn't run on factory .40SW loads.

9.5 and 10 gr is what I shot all last year. My Glock 20L can handle it, but pointless.

Mike Willard at Swamp Fox ammo had loaded at the 10.0 grain level of Longshot.

Forgot to mention the BE-86 rounds! They are in the Midway bullet box.  8.2 grains.

I am officially out of fancy ammo boxes.

I'm gonna try Longshot one of these days.

I use a lot of Power Pistol but it seems like LS is more popular for 10mms.

The two are pretty close though.

11.0 grains of Blue Dot and 180 grain XTPs have been a great load for my Gen3 G20 with KKM barrel and #20 Wolf non captive RSA.

You need to load more ammo...that stack is one outing. 😀

This place needs a bit of levity.

My name is Benchrst, and I need to come clean...

I don't plink with my 10mm! There, I said it!

It's that other lesser caliber ( -1mm ), spend most of my time with her.

It's the ultra-cheap, won't mention names (begins with an L), press. I tinkered, and cussed a bit (a lot), and now it just works. I pull the handle = I get to pull the trigger :)

$100 in components = 1K in trigger time!

Phew, I feel so much better!

My crate was half full with various 10mm factory stuff as well. Actually didn't shoot much of that. :o
