Title: Lone Wolf old vs new barrel
Post by: Bayan Dundee on November 20 2017 06:11:06 PM MST
Looking to replace the barrel in my Glock 40 to gain better support in the chamber so my brass will last and be safer to shoot with the hotter loads. Have come across a 10 mm Lone Wolf (9") barrel that is old stock, have been told that the newer model barrel  had reduced case support compared to the older one, and that the newer one  is not that much better than the OEM, see photo. Question is , are there any obvious differences in these 2 models of barrel that you can ask someone over the phone, to work out which it is, say are the logos different or in a different place, remember I will be talking to some one who won't know that much nor have 2 barrels to compare, any help would be appreciated.

I know the latest dasan 10mm barrels weren't very good with case support but the alphawolf series is very good.  This one is a 6.61" threaded g40 version.

have been trying to import  an alpha wolf barrel but your ITAR regs make it hard, still trying, but have found a new Dasan made barrel in my country that I can get right away, just don't want the model with less case support, unfortunately can't see it so need some way to find out, thanks for the photo, was wondering whether or not those barrels were any better
