I shared the data with Reed's and they're sending replacement 155 and 200's. Let's see what they give!
I received the new 200gr Hardcast today. Hopeful for 1200 FPS velocity.
Did they pan out better?
Haven't been out to try them yet. I had two family deaths, Christmas, New Years and then a Polar Vortex. I hope 2018 goes better and I get to the range more!
That's awful. When it rains it pours.
Ugh. I just bought some 180 Gold Dots from them based on the rave reviews. Price of the Ammo was good but shipping was a beast.
Put them to basically at $1 per round.
Following this one for sure.

165gr Golden Saber to add
The weather for Tuesday looks pretty promising!

Any update on those loads originally posted? The weather here in Florida is great so I don't see what the delay might be :P
I asked Reeds about their ammo and they said they don't use flash suppressed powder because they haven't seen any difference between flash suppressed and regular powder. Have you noticed any difference?
The weather has been horrible. It's supposed to rain this evening again, but tomorrow shows 51 and sunny. I'm going for it tomorrow evening.
Finally! I'm glad to finally get a break in the weather to get these done. They proved to be stronger as expected and I will get these to The Shadow for pull-downs.

That's more like it. Could you notice the flash with their non-suppressed powder?
That's what I was hoping to hear with the 165gr GS. Do you know if it is the bonded version of the GS ?
I didn't notice a flash like before. Possibly not #9? I don't know if these GS were bonded, but the originals did really well in gel.
Those numbers are encouraging. Just need time to spend with the chronograph to verify the ones I bought.
