Is this the right height? Mine shoots about where I want it with the stock, but in failing light or indoors you might as well be instinctive shooting.

Any of them will work, but Dawson is best.
What height? What height is the stock? Do I go taller because the dot will be a tad lower?
The Henning one is .180 " tall. Dawson makes then in 10 different heights.
I use the one in the link I posted (.140) . In the link you posted I believe it said .150 was stock.

You might want to go with a shorter front so you can keep the rear sight cranked down instead of elevated. It holds better that way.
