I would like to mount an RMR on my G20, gen 4, however the slide has not been milled. Any recommendations on a solid mounting system that will hold a zero under 10mm recoil; or is there such a thing?
Thanks
Ken
I believe they make a rear sight mount for it. Have to replace the rear sight and mount the RMR to the plate that goes in where the rear sight was previously.

Any idea on the manufacturer or cost?
Thanks

Thanks sqlbullet, any certain one that folks have had good success with?
I'd sent it to Suarez International to be milled.
Absolutely, I just hate to be without it
Have you seen the newer Strike Industries mount?
Its a weaver base, so not specifically for the RMR. But having had a GUM base and seeing that it worked, but continued to come loose. I like this one better but it is taller and more obtrusive.
I used the GUM for one season of 3GUN and it works OK, I milled the slide this past winter and much prefer the milled slide. The down time was minimal as I timed it with the smith so he only had it a couple days.
Two weeks back I picked up a Glock 24. I am now contemplating milling its slide... May go with this Strike industries base. OOH you also DO NOT LOOSE the rear site!!
