Vista Outdoors announced Tuesday that it is considering putting Savage Arms up for sale as part of a "strategic business transformation plan."

To be honest, I liked the old Savage better than the Vista Outdoors version anyway. The old Savage always had a great selection, almost every rifle they made, in left handed models. Kind of a big deal to some of us. Hopefully, this will actually be a good thing.
I don't see anybody running at their door with money. There's a major problem in the gun making business. Between the regulations and insurance, you can't make a money. Seems the days of high demand are now behind us since we now have a President that isn't a psycho. Since it appears he will also carry a second term, it's unlikely that Savage will end up sold and remain in it's current form. Not many of the ol' time gun makers around anymore.
Trump is tracking the lowest approval ratings since Gerald Ford. Unless the democrats run Hillary again, he will be a one term wonder.
That's if you think the "polls" are legitimate, which is certainly arguable. Anything coming from the msm is presumptively fraudulent.
