Any recommendations for a good adjustable sight for the Glock G40? Mine is strictly a hunting gun out to 50 yards, so I need something that is fine enough for accurate hits.
I have a Leupold Deltapoint Pro with the 2.5 moa dot on mine.
No complaints, it does the job.
I should have been more clear. I am looking for open sight recommendations. I do have and use a Vortex Venom 3 moa, but I want to switch to straight open sights.
Warren Tactical makes some nice sights, have them on my G20, and G30

William's makes and adjustable fiber optic set that worked great. I had to remove them after a year when I put a fastfire 3 on it. If you like them I can make you a steal of a deal.

I'll check them out, thanks.
Can anyone here speak to the accuracy differences between a red dot and these fiber optic sights on a Glock 40? I have yet to stretch out my Glock 40 and Delta Point Pro past 25 yards but the accuracy is most certainly there. Thanks.
Where in Az are you?
I have a Delta Point on mine and regularly shoot an 8x10 plate at 115 yards. It makes a huge difference. I shot this pig at about 80 yards. I don't think I could have made that shot with open sights. I probably wouldn't have even taken the shot.

Congrats on the hog 180 Grains! "Real world" results.
I haven't tried hunting with a red dot optic, but I've had great luck with the trijicon hd xr iron sights on my G20. The thin front post with bright orange dot and wide rear u-notch work very well for hunting and defensive training. Kind of a jack of both trades. The HD XR front are also available for 1911's through Ed Brown as a dealer exclusive deal with Trijicon. I don't shoot 1911's very often but a great option for those that do. Not sure why Ed Brown and Trijicon don't advertise that better.

novak has begun making adjustable tritium and fiber optic sights for glock as for me I use a holosun red dot and ameriglo 5x co whitness hope this helps.....
I been dry firing with my glock 40 OEM sights so long on deer out the window I became use to the sight picture of the deer in them. I should get a red dot though, but at least that made me proficient in downing deer with the basic OEM sights.
