Title: Great Speech from someone who has been there
Post by: sqlbullet on January 22 2013 01:21:58 PM MST

I love his quote at the end.  "Stand your ground. Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here." - Capt. John Parker, Massachusetts Militia.

You know, when I had seen that vid the other day the first thing I thought was that this man actually appreciates what our country gives him. I could only assume that he does not take us for granted since he was nationalized in 2007 and he is doing his part for our rights in 2013. I wish more born and raised Americans valued our country as much as he probably does. And I just watched that vid again.

It is sad that he still sees the American Dream that so many have turned their backs against. I still remember the begging children when I was a soldier many years ago.....that had they the opportunities that so many here now take for granted.....How little one appreciates things until they no longer have them. How much it means to those who don't...
