I pretty excited, this my first HP mold. I have a couple NOE molds and like them allot. But never made the HP jump.
Gonna cast first bullets Tomorrow.

That mold looks great and should make great bullets
NOE makes good stuff!
Very nice looking. Having owned a couple of NOE molds myself, I can say that they make great stuff. Never used a HP mold, but I hear that they like some heat.
I followed suggestions form members over on CBB. Most all said to get and keep pins hot. I washed it in dish soap and water, then heat cycled twice to 400 got 30 then cool in oven & repeat. Done Friday night before Sat AM casting. Mounted it to handles and set ontop of the Lyman pot and turned pot on.
So I let it REALLY HEAT UP! I always set the molds atop the pot as the lead melts. But This time I cast about a 100 41 Mag bullets, then about 100 357bullets THEN started with the 10MM.... I can with all honesty tell you the very first cast was 98% perfect! I cast five times, then again flushed the mold with brake parts clean and cast one more time. I did thro those two back in the pot without even looking at them. But EVERY SINGLE cast since that one was 100% perfect! NO sticking, no fill issues, NO sags nothing!

I did not have the time to powder coat these.
But I also cast a couple hundred 10MM Lyman 180 RNFP bullets and did powder coat them.

Next I'll cast with the wide deep pins. :)

Looking great! ;D
I tested a new color of PC last night...
I have been working on a new green color... But initially, I mistakenly added too much copper. Metallic's in general thin the crap out of even the best coating powders and although, I know better, some how I fudged up and added too much copper... SO, its toss it out or dump in tablespoons of good coating powder to compensate. Seeing as I had too much to toss it out, I decided to invest more. :) :o ;D
I ended up with a color real close to Pontiac Blue! not super smooth, but that's the matte blue colors effects. (These are culled bullets. Using just for color testing.)

CWlongshot is a whizz at the craft. PM me too for info. Too stupidly easy and effective to not do it.
Beautiful handiwork CW! Those are terrific photos. I can stare at cast bullets for hours. Yours are beauties.
Curious. What is the diameter as dropped, then after coating? My only gripe with NOE molds is that they drop fat. My last 180 hr dropped over .404". So after PC, that was a LOT of sizing. So I sold it and now have an LBT on the way.
I really like those bullets very nice work what was alloy you used. I am looking forward to seeing how they shoot.
I cast them to about a 12 BHN. Soft enough for some expansion yet hard enough to penetrate.
(I cast harder for rifle)
Here is all three styles form same mold just changing out the pins.

I have only PD's a few and haven't shot a single one yet!

12-13 is certainly the sweet spot for my 10mm guns. I also run a bit harder for rifle, mostly 30 caliber for my M1 Garands.
