Title: MP 165 powder pics
Post by: greentick on May 29 2020 12:32:49 AM MDT
The Shadow asked me to post some pics of this powder MP165. I bought it from American Reloading about a year ago and it said to use BE86 data minus 10% and work up.

The lighting is fluorescent in my garage. I put some Longshot in the pic for comparison. Let me know if you need different shots.

Thanks for the pictures of the MP165 Powder!  While Midwest Powders mention using data for BE-86, the MP165 Powder is not even close the BE-86 by its structure.

MP165 Powder reminds me of Winchester AutoComp powder

BE-86 is a cut flake powder

Thanks for the analysis Shadow. Will continue to proceed w cautious workups when using this powder. Doesn't appear to be available anymore on the American Reloading site but what I have should provide plenty of fun.
