Surprisingly I have not come across any personal reviews of the Mako on gun forums.

Makes me wonder if it was just too late to the party or too expensive. I know that it just didn?t interest me and I?m usually curious.

Well Ken, I gotta say that tops any gun BS I have ever heard.

Since it will not work for what I want it to do if anyone needs a 10mm cylinder I have one for the same price I paid. I am having a .357 Cylinder converted to .38-40 instead

Sounds like a cool project, I like it!  Sure hope it works out well.

I think the Tanfoglio pistols never got the attention deserved by the public, ????

GLWTS :-)

The public probably didn?t take them seriously due to their stupid and goofy ads for 30 years. The absolute worst in the industry.

I?m not trashing the guns, I own three.  Their management should have been kicked out the door long ago.

That?s a shame. I like mine tons better than my semi custom Glock 20.

But then, maybe they will replace those dropped models with OSP and Elite models?

Sure hope SA doesn?t tank the Ten.

Update: I got my 4.6" M&P 10mm, and it blows the pants off the Glock 20, at least for me. Its recoil is no greater yet it's way easier for me to shoot 50 rounds, shoot 50 of 9mm, and then 50 of 10mm from my MP10 again (100 10mm total). The high sights are much better than the nubs the G20 gives, grip doesn't drive a weird feeling into my wrist like my G20 did, all around massive improvement!

Congrats! So glad to hear that my thoughts were confirmed as well

I'm having the same train of thought as you.

If I ever find the M&P 10 in the wild I'll but it.

If you consider Gunbroker the wild, then it's there, but be prepared to pay a > $200 premium.

I?m not the kind of guy that has to have a new gun bad enough to pay a premium.

Also, I try not to use GB. I don?t like paying transfer fees and most importantly, I want to handle the gun I am buying first.  Plus the added fact that scammers are getting more prevalent on GB doesn?t help. That?s not much of a problem with new guns; you can always find a seller that takes credit cards. But I have passed on some hard to find used guns at good prices only because they would only accept a Money order.

General Discussion / Re: 10mm Reloading

Welcome to the forum Jason.

5 grains difference in bullet weight is insignificant unless maybe you are going beyond max levels.

What?s more important is the bullet composition and the actual bearing surface when comparing bullets of similar weights.

I agree with Shadow, the ball is in your court.

p.s.  Going forward, we have a reloading section which may get more traffic for your questions; along with being able to pick up some nuggets and gems.

I have the M&P 45 which is  probably the same size as the 10; it feels sooo much better than my Glock 20, as does my XD as well. In fact, I don?t even shoot the Glock anymore.

I agree, his videos are too long, which is why I rarely view them anymore.

And your screen name is Vice?   ;)

The Miami Vice gun was used in the TV show and not movie.  It was a full sized Bren Ten chambered for 45 ACP as 10mm blanks were hard to find at the time and had the slide hard chromed to show up better in dim lit scenes.

There were two Special Forces models, Light and Dark, and both featured 4" barrels as opposed to the the 5" in the auction.

I know about The original Miami Vice TV show. If you reread my post, you will see that I said MOVIE, which is what the Gunbroker Listing you referred to, referred to.

While I will never have the awesome Bren Ten collection like you have  8), I do have 2 Special Forces Light; one which is unfired, set up with Left hand controls from the factory.

I guess I took your post too literal, I was not trying to demean you in any way.

I was just pointing out more mistakes in the auction listing, sorry if you are offended.    :-[

It?s all good. I was just trying to reinforce my original point and add some bit of credibility to myself.
