For sale / Glock 20C Gen 3 - NoVA
November 15 2016 08:36:15 PM MST
Good day everyone.

Decided it's time to sell the Glock 20C Gen 3 I've had for a while. Shoots well, but is used.

If you want to sell locally, the usual stipulations stand: Bill of Sale (I'll bring it), and 2 forms of ID (DL, voter card, CHP, Military ID, etc).

Out of state, obviously the FFL route and tack on $15 for shipping

Asking 500 for the pistol and two magazines. 525 for the pistol and four 15 round magazines, and a 10 round magazine (I load it with snap caps for training ... you can have those too BTW)

Glock 20C Gen 3
Night sights (But I don't remember what brand... meprolights maybe?. The dots are green.
I have a case (not pictured) but it's the old style, tupperware case.
Has all stock parts except an extended slide release.
Also have an additional recoil guide and spring. Bought it, tried it, couldn't tell the difference.

~$1000 for s single stack 10mm pistol with a low bore axis? Pass.

I think you meant high bore axis.

Ye, thats what I meant

Where do you get a lower that takes Glock magazines?

Got mine yesterday. Will be going to the range this  afternoon. Going to fire two magazines worth to ensure they will cycle and the mags are still good. Then I'll shoot some TMJ.

Short Answer:
The Colt Delta Elite is a modified 1911; not sure
if issue is related to feed ramps or lack of case support but
hottest ammo could cause problems.

Does this apply to any other 10mm 1911s, or just the Delta Elite?

Although we never got to do a pull-down of the Delta Elite loading of the Underwood, I would have presume it has a little less powder therefore a little less peak pressure at the 1240 fps value.

Based on what I have personally loaded and the pull-downs I'd say about 0.2 - 0.4 grains depending on the powder.

Not to sound like a petulant toddler, but why? Why have less powder/velocity?

What's the difference between the two?

No, sir. I haven't redone that test. Velocity was about 1,200 fps so it ought to do well. 180 gr Gold Dot at 1,300 fps are marginal and they work well from 900 fps on up so 1,200 fps ought to be about perfect for a "true" 10mm 180 gr Gold Dot. Maybe I'll get back to that one some day.

Anyhow, here's the Federal 180 gr Trophy Bonded JSP:

Were you able to confirm they were actual Gold Dots? I've read elsewhere that they may have been knock offs or a lesser Speer HP that they claimed was gold dots.

Federal looks similar to Underwood XTPs.

Are there any gel tests with Ted Nugent's 10mm Speer JHP? I know Intercooler did one but the video I found said the bullet curve upwards and, as a result, he didn't get any expansion/weight data. Was there an update to that?

Naa. That's just false advertising  :o

I haven't gotten a bad round from them, PBR or Buffalo Bore so far.

I was being nice. It's one thing to be 15-30 fps off. It's another to be over a hundred.

What kind of issues?
Quality control. They claim a certain velocity but their rounds have a substantial lower velocity than advertised.

Why did you post this?  Now I wont be able to sleep for months..  OMG that thing is beautiful..   :P

It's how I introduce myself. They also have their own sub-forum over at HKPro.

I see Double Tap is still having quality control issues.
