Ok here is more update. I am shooting a lot of 115g and 124g at 6.2g Power Pistol. I have loaded this for like 40 years or so. Today testing the red lead polymer coated bullets I found the 115 and 124 loaded at 6,2 to seem very hot compared to the 5.0g loaded 147g bullet. The 147 is not at all wimpy just a little less recoil. I am loving this round more and more. Craig

Ken I have seen all kinds of pricing from American. You pay less for a more slightly damaged bullet but I have seen double the quantity for half the price for no real reason. I would think it's cost and or quantity on hand etc.   Craig

Ken I used Power Pistol 5.0g. This is of course why it is so easy to shoot. In the pat I have tried lessor weighted rounds with no real success. This round I feel will work in all my 9s.  Craig

The 158g shoots very well and not light like the wad cutters.  Craig

I think I have a new best load in the 147g red polymer lead. It shoots perfect!!! Craig

My Bosnia primers worked fine but I am down to 1500 or so. The local shop has all primers but nothing cheap all in the 100/1000 range.  Craig

Just finished another 50 147g so will shoot more tomorrow. Oh yeah Wade I did check my Lyman older book for data and it was the same as Alliant on the web. I just can't get over how comfortable they are to shoot!!! Craig

I was just at my local shop and bought 2000 small pistol primers that are Winchester. I have used them for 50 years.  Craig

Hey Wade thanks for the input. I almost was going to shoot them but thought I had already blown up the Glock Model 19 so why push it. BTW shot the 147 today and what a nice surprise!! no bad kick at all. Very comfortable even compared to the 115/139g I also shot. I will load a bunch of these 147's.  Craig

Yeah these are sorting out to 600+ 147g and 400 or so 115 and 124. Works for me if the 147 work today at the range.  Craig

Well Ken all fixed. I unloaded the 19 bad one's and reloaded at 5.0g! The thing that made me miss this was the 115g max is 6.7 and the 124g is at 6.4 max so it is quite the jump to 147g at 5.0g max. I read it wrong but I think my mind knew 6.0 was right but of course wrong. Oh well at leased I caught it. Will shoot these today and report back. One more thing is though I have 1000 to weigh the 147g are a flat top where as the other two sizes 115,130 are a round nose pointed bullet. Easy to get the 147 out first and so far they are the greatest quantity.  Craig

Reloading / 9MM lead red polimer coated bullets

Got 1000 of these from American Reloading and shot 10 today. They seemed very nice and I will test more tomorrow. It is a mix of weights like 115, 130 and 147g this is just weighting a few. I loaded all at 6.0 which is close to max on the 147g. We will see although I had no problems with the 10 I shot today. What I really like about all this is it was 30.00 delivered to me.  Craig

Just caught a big mistake!! The 147g data is really at 5.0g not 6.0 as I loaded it. I have already separated them from the others and will do something with them like unload or what ever. My eyes are just bad enough to see a 5 thinking it is a 6

The m200 shot very well but I could work on the reloads as they seem very light!!! Even the data seems light. I will use 38+p data as the load I just did called for 6.2g Power Pistol and I load this all the time in 9mm for 115 or 124g. the 6,2 is max for 158g so I loaded 6.0, We will see tomorrow. The m200 is all fixed and it functioned super!!  Craig
