Gunsmithing / G20 recoil spring
December 09 2012 08:30:01 AM MST
I would like to get a heavier recoil spring for my G20. I reload most of the ammo that goes through it, but regardless, everything is hot (reloads or Buffalo Bore or Underwood). All my research says go with a 22lb spring...?

I was wondering what brand or website do you recommend getting it from.... Is there a difference?

Thanks

Don hume or Mtac for everyday carry, D. Nemesis for pocket carry, and drop leg holster for woods carry...

I use to race motocross before I got serious into baseball in high school. Bikes, quads, side x side's etc are lots of fun!

I would not carry this gun or probably even use it for self defense. Bullet travels very fast and does not do as much damage as other calibers, but it is one hell of a fun gun to shoot..... I'd get one if you have money to blow on a fun gun/ammo. That's all I see it's purpose for really.

Streamlight. Model depends on what you want. My uncle is a distributor for Streamlight and I have/used just about all of them. They all work great. Each one has its own features you may or may not want....

The poll has reached a pretty decent sample size now at the point of 34 voters voting a total of 61 times.

So far the biggest surprise to me is less interest in 800-X than I would have guessed.  At the same time I suppose it shouldn't be much of a surprise being that it's the most difficult powder of the bunch to weigh accurately without weighing by hand, no doubt something a fair number of folks simply wouldn't be interested in messing with.

Other than that I see a large swing in personal choice overall, which I think is good toward all of us learning from each other, along with having different interests on an individual basis toward how we choose to tailor 10mm loads to our individual likings.

That's why I shied away from it in the beginning, but my curiosity is still eating at me... So time to compare soon!

I've read some bad reviews on them on other forums. I'd stick with other brands/companies....

Dillon 650 here because of their reputation, customer service, quality, etc.

I've been using a RCBS 750 and had no problems, but I bought a Dillon digital.... Reviews seems to be superior on the Dillon. We'll see....

I've had great results with Longshot and Bluedot. I only load heavier bullets. 800x is next on my list...
